We hope you will join us as Awesome Pittsburgh celebrates 5 years of awesome projects, people, and ideas on October 21, 2016 at 6 pm at Spirit in Lawrenceville.

Five years ago, Pittsburgh City Council proclaimed October 18th to be Awesome Pittsburgh Day in the City of Pittsburgh (pdf), marking the launch of Awesome Pittsburgh. Since then, 1,500+ people have submitted a wide array of ideas for consideration, 58 local projects have won Awesome micro-grants and 28 generous trustees have contributed to these awards. That’s a whole lot of awesomeness to celebrate! So, please join us on Friday, October 21, 2016 as we mark five years of Awesome Pittsburgh by gathering past winners, past and present trustees and friends like you!

We will be giving away a few other things you may want to celebrate:
– Pizza from Slice Island, Spirit’s in house pizzeria,
– Birthday cupcakes from Yummyholic (a past grant winner), and
– Grants 59 & 60, which we’ll announce at the party!
