How: Submit a short online application to Awesome Pittsburgh through the Awesome Foundation Submission Page. Be sure to select Pittsburgh as your chapter and tell us about your idea and a little about yourself or your organization.
When: You can submit at any time, but we gather up all applications received by the first of each month and choose a winner from that group by the end of the month.
Who: Individuals of all ages, informal groups, organizations, social enterprises, and start-ups can apply.
Disclaimer: The Awesome Pittsburgh Trustees are an unincorporated group of donors trying to forward the awesomeness of the Pittsburgh region. Like you, we’re acting with the best intentions. By applying for an Awesome Pittsburgh grant, you agree to bear the full responsibility of any unlikely problems that arise, even if those problems include harm to you, someone else, or the community. And, you agree not to ruin our good faith in each other by taking any legal or financial actions against us or helping others to do so. But you likely knew all this already because you’re a responsible, awesome person. And, lawsuits, contracts, insurance claims, and other administrative clauses often aren’t very awesome.
