Just a quick note to say we received 42 new submissions for our January 15 deadline.  That’s 42 new ideas for making the Pittsburgh region a more awesome place to live, play, work, and more.  We’ve added those to many that we held over from November and are busy reading them through and testing them against our new list of “qualities that earn awesomeness bonus points.”  (Yes we were overachievers in school and begged for bonus points…)

Look for an announcement of our next $1,000 award winner in early February. In the meantime, always feel free to submit your idea for forwarding awesomeness in the Pittsburgh area and we promise to consider it in the following monthly application review cycle.
